Police Radio Scanner Android App allows you to listen in on police, fire, and EMS radio from around the world. Choose from police radios from 12 countries. For some of these countries, you can even select specific police bands. For example, if you choose the United States, you can select Washington, and then select King County.
Supported countries with Police Radio Scanner Android App include Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, UK, and US. There is an additional Oldies station in case you’ve heard enough police drama and want to listen to some music.

Tethering Widget for Android enables you to turn your Android phone into a mobile hotspot. Share internet access with your friends at the tap of a finger, and shut down the hotspot just as easily when you’re done.
Please note:
1) Tethering widget for Android is not an app, but (like the name says) a widget. Once you’ve installed it, go to your home screen and press: Menu->Add->Widget to open it up.
2) Not all mobile devices support tethering. Please read the developer’s “Android Widget Tutorial” on his “IT Scuba Diver” blog before installing.
